Because the eligibility to join the IAF is to have a graduation degree with physics,chemistry,maths. You must have maths as basic science subject, so as you are a graduate from biological science background,you are not eligible to join in there. Thanks |

Re: Can I join the indian airforce being a graduate in zoology? Hi, if you want to become a pilot then you can qualify for the NDA exam. NDA stands for National Defence Service. NDA exam will conducted by the upsc twice in a year. Eligibility criteria: the applicant should be citizen of india. The qualification required for candidate is complete the 12th standard with any stream from a recognized state board of india. The minimum age of candidate is 16.5 years and the maximum age is the 19 years. The candidate should be physically and medically fit for this exam. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this exam. Re: Can I join the indian airforce being a graduate in zoology? yes, you do if you have maths till 12th then you can apply for IAF or else no chance is there but if you want to be a commerical pilot then there are many institutes where they accept any graduate for the c.pilot training rest for IAf i think your chances are less.. bye good luck take care.. |

Re: Can I join the indian airforce being a graduate in zoology? dear friend, you cannot directly apply to the indian airforce their criteria is 12th with math or b.tech, but still you can go by qualifying for the CDS conducted by the UPSC.keep faith in yourself.... best of luck |

Re: Can I join the indian airforce being a graduate in zoology? hello friend yes, graduate candidate can apply for air force. Physical fitness is one of the most prerequisites for joining the air force, irrespective of the branch you are applying for. you must fulfill some basic physical stander. |

Re: Can I join the indian airforce being a graduate in zoology? sorry friend... you are not eligible for Combined Defence Services Examination, 2010 then you have no option to join Indian airforce ... because For Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering. ... good luck... |
