Re: How to take admission in Indian Army or Airforce after SSC? The interest shown by you to join the defence services is absolutely commendable. There are no provisions in the defence services through which a 10th standard girl student can join the armed force. A girl candidate can join the defence after their graduation. You can join in an officer in the Indian Air Force. This mode of entry is called Short service commission where you will have to serve a definite period with the services. BEST OF LUCK |

If you are interested in joining Indian Army or Indian Ariforce then you can try for it after 10+2 exam or degree. As after 10+2 or degree you will be eligible for many posts in Indian Army or Indian Airforce. Also if possible then complete your 10+2 with PCM & Degree with science stream, so that you will be eligible for most of the posts in Indian Army & Indian Airforce. Dear, In order to join the Indian Army , you need to have the following eligibilities:- --> 10+2 pass candidates with physics , chemistry , maths with a minimum of 55-60% marks. --> Only unmarried male candidates can apply for it. --> Age limitation is between 16.5-19 years. --> You can give the NDA exam for the same. --> More details:- www.upsc.gov.in.
