Re: Any jobs in Railways for Computer Science students? Currently there are no opportunities in Railways meant especially for CSE graduates. But you can expect a lot of career opportunities in the coming future. Railway exams are carried out by Railway Recruitment Board. You can refer the official website of the same for current job updates. Engineering graduates in Computer Science Engineering can find lot of career opportunities in Railway sector since most of the actions are computerized. The qualification requirement to apply for such jobs is graduation with minimum 55% marks. The age of the candidate should fall with in 22 - 32 yrs. The main job positions applicable for CSE graduates in railways are mentioned below. * Section Research Engineer * Section Engineer * Junior Research Engineer * Data Entry Operator * IT Systems Analyst The candidates with years of work experience can get in to senior job positions directly. Candidates with high educational qualifications (who get in to junior positions at entry level) can get in to senior job profiles with growing experience. Apart from the jobs mentioned above candidates can apply for junior job profiles such as station master, TTE, Booking office clerks, and so on. The candidate has to go through the notification in detail before start the application procedure for the job. |

Yes vacancies for CSE are there but limited...One cant assure you for a job in railways.. So if you are looking for a govt job,then i must tell you that for CSE ,one can easily get job in private firms(as there are many existing companies) but not so easily in govt organisations... keep checking employment newspapers for latest vacancies... |
