Dear, The age limitation for the Income Tax officer is as follows:- --> The minimum age required is to attain the age of 18 years. --> The maximum age required is to attain the age of 27 years. The minimum educational qualification should also be a graduate. Thanks. |

Information about Income Tax Officer - To become a Income Tax Officer, You need to complete your Graduation degree from a recognized colleges Or University. So, If you have a graduate from a Recognized University Or Equivalent Qualification then you are eligible to apply for Income Tax Officer Examination. But To apply for this examination your age should between 18 To 27 Years. The Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST and OBC Candidates only. For SC, ST candidates there will be 5 Year Relaxation will be applicable and 3 Year Relaxation will be applicable for OBC Candidates. And to become Income tax officer, you need to crack the Written examination, which are totally objective type and you have to also appear the Interview, After clear interview and Physical Standard, you will become a Income Tax Officer. Re: Upper age limit for Income Tax Officer Exam? Dear friend For INCOME TAX officer the minimum age is 18 years old. The maximum age is 25 years old(but 25 year is excluded),the condidate must not attained the age of 25 year. |

Re: Upper age limit for Income Tax Officer Exam? Eligibility of Income Tax Officer:- 1. Educational Eualification:- Graduation of any stream. 2. Age:- candidate must have attained the age of 18 years on 1st July of the year of examination and must not have attained 27 years of age on that date. The upper age limit will be relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates. The upper age limit is also relaxed in favor of certain categories of employees working under the Government of India and Defense Services Personnel. |
