Re: Can I apply for JTO exam while in final year B.Tech? Junior Telecom Officer (JTO) : Candidate having Engineering degree in the field of Telecommunication, Electrical, Electronics, etc are eligiblble for writing a JTO Exam. Candidate having age less than 30 years. |

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION of JTO 2011: JTO 2011(Telecom): Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology or equivalent Engineering degree in any of the following disciplines from a recognized engineering college/university: i. Telecommunication, ii. Electronics, iii. Radio, iv. Computer, v. Electrical. vi. Information Technology Candidates appearing in the final year degree examination may also apply To be eligible for the written test, the candidate must be over 21 years of age and be less than 30 years. Age upper age limit is relax able by 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates. I have attached few papers of JTO. |

Re: Can I apply for JTO exam while in final year B.Tech? Yes you are eligible for to apply JTO exam. To be eligible for written test ,the candidate must be over 21 years of age and be less than 30years.Age upper limit is relax able by 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates. For JTO Telecom exam,one must have an Engineering/Technology degree in any of the following streams electronics, Telecommunications, radio, computers, electrical or information technology. For JTO civil exam,one must have a civil engineering degree. The candidates who are in their final year can also apply for the written test provided that the said educational qualifications will be attained by the end of year. |

Re: Can I apply for JTO exam while in final year B.Tech? hi dear, Yes you can apply for JTO for 2012 and even for 2011 also..as requirement for JTO, Age Limit Entrance Examination : The applicants age should not be more than 30 years . but for For PWD candidates upto 10 years for OC candidate..15 years for SC / ST and 13 years for OBC. .BEST oF LUCK. |

for BSNL JTO exam , the paper is based on mainly electronics based. you cant mention your deparment. but some department are eligible for BSNL JTO and departments are ECE,EE,EEE,EI,CSE,IT . if you are belongs from those department then you are eligible. final year student are eligible for BSNL JTO exam. all the best |
