(b) The Minimum standard for height and chest girth without which candidates cannot be accepted are as follows:

Height

Chest (fully expanded)

Expansion

163 cms

84 cms.

5 cms. (for men)

79 cms.

5 cms, (for women)

The following minimum height standards may be allowed in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes and in races such as Gorkhas, Nepalies, Assamese, Meghalaya Tribal, Ladakhese, Sikkimese, Bhutanese, Garhwalees, Kumaonis, Nagas and Arunachal Pradesh candidates whose average height is distinctly lower:

165 cm for male
150 cm for female

you should be physically fit and age between 21 to 30 years.

Indian forest service exam is conducted by UPSC one time in a year.
To be eligible for this exam you must have pass bachalor degree and candidates age should be in between 21-30 years.
You need to be medically fit and for general candidates minimum height should be 165 cm for male and 150 cm for female candidates.
General candidates will get only 4 chances to crack this examination, 7 chances for OBC candidates and no limit for SC/ST candidates.

IFS indian forest service exam is organised by UPSC.

Educational qualification for this exam is graduation from a recoggnised university.

Height criteria for Male is 160cm and for female is 150cm.

HEIGHT OF IFS

Height 163 cms (for men) and 150 cms, (for women).

ChestMale Minimum 84 cm. Expansion 5 cm.

Female Min 79 cm expansion 5 cm.
note:Many people fail in this test of chest expansion.so if you canot practice it.

Indian Forest Service Examination was conducted by UPSC every year, And to appear in This examination you must have a Bachelor’s degree of a recognised University with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or an equivalent qualification and your age should between 21 to 30 years.
