You can join in any branch that you interested .if you are interested in software side you may join in CSE or ECE.If you are interested in electronics you may join in EEE or ECE.ir depends on your contribution on that subject.Nowadays all are anxious in software development engineer. Ao., You may proceed. |

Re: Which stream is the best to choose for b tech? Of course nowadays COMPUTER SCIENCE has become one of the demanding subject in all the companies. As the technologies are developing, the only thing that you will find in any companies is computer. And nowadays generally the best placements with high package is given to CS students hired by companies like wipro, infosys, tata, or sometimes MNC's too. Actually if you go through this field, you will be always demanding and never be less valued. So according to me computer science would be the best choice. But remember everywhere everything need is a vary hard work. |

Its best to choose between civil or EEE as they are highly demanded now a days and these fields are growing day by day, leaving you with lot of promised job opportunities in future especially abroad. if you are not willing to pursue with civil or EEE there are always a option B to choose like automobile engineering , aviation etc. If you want to CS or IT there is still no fault but you should be dare enough to take risk , though it is easy to study the job opportunities are gradually declining as the world is changing into a kind where robots are considered better than humans. So choose wisely. |

Re: Which stream is the best to choose for b tech? It is a very good decision by you to take up B.Tech but be careful in choosing the engineering course. I would suggest you Mechanical Engineering is the best out of these because of following reasons : 1. Mechanical Engineering has a very wide job opening as mechanical engineers are found in almost all sections of engineering. A Mechanical Engineer is now found in all types of industries because of their very wide scope. A Mechanical Engineer can go to all jobs other than a Civil Engineering job. 2. When it comes to Civil Engineering you have got a job but the thing you cannot go for any other job than a civil engineering job. 3. Chemical Engineering may not be a good option as the job opening is less when compared to others, and also there are not so many chemical industries in India when compared to Mechanical Industries. A Mechanical Engineer can work in Machine based industries, computer hardware and software industries, Petroleum Industries, Electronics Industries and Electrical Industries, Aircraft Industries and any other industry as they will require a mechanical engineer to design and maintain their machines for their improved production. It is a field that has never experienced a recession. |

If you are taking admission in IITs, NITs or government universities, then opt for these courses:- 1)mechanical engineering 2)civil enginerring 3)electrical engineering 4)electronics and communication engineering The reason being that the upper 4 streams are regarded as core streams owing to the wide range of application of these streams. But since the number of core companies coming to india are very less, it wont be safe if you opt for these streams in a private college because then you cannot depend on college campussing for jobs. So if you are taking a seat in a private college then go for the following streams:- 1)Computer science and engineering 2)information technology the reason being that CSE and IT engineers are in a high demand nowadays and IT sectors account to bout 85%-90% of the companies coming to india. best of luck!!! |

These both branches are ever green branches and are in great demand in every area. So if you want to make your carrier successful and bright then its good to go for the above branches. But a suggestion for you that its good to choose branch in engineering according to your interest. Then only you will make your self a good engineer. Its right that in other branches the market demand is low but if you are good enough in other branches and have more interest in some other branch then its good to for that branch. Each stream has got its own importance.So,its tough to decide which is the best based on economic crisis.Well the evergreen branches in the Engineering stream are:- Electrical,Civil,Mechanical,Electronics and Communication. A demand is always there for the above mentioned branches hence its termed evergreen and even the job opportunities are wide spread. The other branches like Computer Science,Information Technology mainly depends upon the economy.When the economy falls down,even the demand for the jobs fall down.Hence these branches are not much preferred compared to the other branches. But the advantage of software side is that they are highly paid.So,each branch has got its own advantages and dis advantages. Its up to you to decide the B.Tech stream you want to go through. |

Computer Science Engineering 3. Aeronautical Engineering 4. Space Engineering 5. Electronics Engineering 6. Electrical & Electronics Engineering 7. Mechanical Engineering 8. Information Technology Engineering 9. Civil Engineering etc. You can choose any one stream from above, all are better streams and after completing B.E. or B.Tech. you can get a better job & handsome salary. Good Luck |

Now with regards to your query about choosing which stream in b.tech i tell you that each and every stream is equivalent and has it's potentials and importance.Now it's being upto your where you want to go.It's totally depends on your interest. What's i suggest you is that go as per your willingness don't go by others or by interest of market because at the end of the day you have to study and survice in that market. So choose in which your interest lies.Not in which money lies.I know money play a important role in life but knowledge and talent is far superior then that. |

Taking any core branch provides you good career.Than to ask others the branch you should take,ask yourself the same question and take as per your interest.I'll say you the work you do after doing each branch,so that you can decide the branch which suits fine. Mechanical-designing,manufacturing products,you can go for robotics also. Electrical-the large scale circuits in industries,rockets etc., software-programming,animation,web designing. chemical-optimization techniques,lechatliers principles etc., applications,construction of chemical plants(methanol plant etc.,) automobile and aeronautical are preferred to do as specialization in M.Tech. Electronics-you can work to design the chips,can work in research fields with rockets,robots etc., |
