Re: Eligibility for B.Tech after Diploma? Friend, If you complete your Diploma Degree then you can take admission Easily in B.Tech. Degree Course. You have to complete your Diploma Degree with Good Percentage. You Will Get admission in 1st year of B.Tech. degree easily but if you complete your diploma degree with good percentage then yo will get admission in 2nd year of B.Tech. Degree. You have to Face Entrance Examination LEET. LEET - Lateral Entry Engineering Test LEET Exam is conducted for Diploma candidates who want to get admission in B.tech courses. On the basis of LEET exam you will directly get admission to second year of B.E/B.tech. but you have to Get Good Percentage in Diploma Degree. Syllabus:: Section A- Basic Sciences Section B- Electronics Section C- Mechanical Section D- Other Engineering Streams Good Luck........ |

Re: Eligibility for B.Tech after Diploma? It is a good decision to take admission in B.Tech after completing your Diploma in Engineering. As you have Diploma in Engineering. B.Tech programme allows Diploma students to take entry directly into second year of engineering course. For taking admission in B.Tech, you must have done at least 3 years diploma after 10th in any branch of engineering. Some colleges take admission through lateral entry exams like Joint Entrance Examination of Lateral Entry (JELET), Diploma to Degree Entrance Competitive exam, etc. so you need to appear and crack these exams. Some colleges conducted their own entrance exam for getting entry. Admission procedure varies from college to college. So you will have to contact colleges individually. All the best !!

Hai friends…… Yes, After the diploma you can directly join in b.tech After the complition your diploma you can directly join in b.tech 2nd year through the LEET exam. Eligibility for LEET ; You must have mofethen 60% in your diploma. And age limit is not morethen 28 yrs And no backlogs in diploma. And you can choose diploma through the 10+3 way and 10+2+3 way then after that you can eligible for this exam. And in india more universites are offers this admissions. All the best |

There is 5% relaxation in the marks for Sc/St community applicants Those who are appearing for the final year Diploma will be eligible to apply the exam. Maximum age will be 28 years. You can apply for the entrance while you are in your final semester. 2. Your age should be 18 to 25 years Once you qualify in that exam,you can get admission in engineering college,according to your rank in the entrance exam. You will be directly continuing your engineering course from 3rd semester onward i.e 2nd year There is no percentage required for the entrance exam but candidate should have passing percentage to get admission. For candidates belonging to SC/ST community a pass in the qualifying examination will be sufficient. You are eligible for doing Btech.you have better advantage than the students who have joined after 12th as you have well versed knowledge about your course than them. Moreover you can directly join into second year through lateral entry most of the colleges give admission to all based no the vacancy but few college have certain norms like you should have secured first class. In certain university admission is through entrance exam. You can chose any branch you wish it will be better if you chose the same field . |

OR You Must Have Passed The Degree In B. Sc. With Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics As The Subject And Passed With A Minimum Of 50% Marks In Aggregate. So, If You Have Finished Your Diploma You Can Join Engineering College As Lateral Entry. So,The Minimum Eligibility For Lateral Entry Is A Pass With Minimum Eligibility Marks In The Diploma Course Of The State Board In The State Or Equivalent Diploma Courses Prescribed For The Degree Courses. You can do it part time, full time and correspondence mode. You must have 60% in aggregate and cleared the entrance exam for lateral entry in that university. if you clear IIT JEE then you will be able to take admission in first year of engineering in IIT. but when you will apply for these engineering entrance examination you have to fulfill age eligibility criterion and other eligibility criterion. after diploma in engineering sometime called polytechnic there is scheme for direct admission in second year of B.Tech. you may try for this. you have to appear in lateral entry entrance examination to take admission directly in second year. it will save your one year. so you may try for it. best of luck. |

Re: Eligibility for B.Tech after Diploma? You are eligible to go for B.Tech after Diploma. The minimum requirement is that you should have scored more than 60% for your diploma. You will be able to join in the second year of engineering. This is called lateral entry. There will be an entrance examinations conducted either by the college or the university. |
