Re: Eligibility criteria of Custom Officer exam?

hi!

To become a Customs Officer you will have to take the Civil Services Examination (CSE) conducted by UPSC which recruit candidates for 27 different services including the Indian Customs & Central Excise Services.

Bachelor’s degree in any stream obtained from a recognized university is the basic qualification required for appearing in CSE.

Also the candidate should be between 21 to 30 years of age.

Those selected for the Customs Service are trained in Chennai while training for the central Excise Service is done in one of the metropolitan cities.

I didn't get your question properly

you're asking about the custom services right!

this exam is an integrated of all the 22 services which is offered by UPSC by the civils exam

in this after getting good rank you can choose the INDIAN CUSTOM SERVICES

which is the officer range directly
