Re: Basic pay and incentives for an IES officer? The UPSC IES exam inducts class 1 officers in various Indian Govt. departments of which the payband is 3 and grade pay is 5400 which comes to be about 21000 rupess as basic pay+hra+da+ta |

Re: Basic pay and incentives for an IES officer? Hello, An IES officer gets rs 15600 as basic pay. He also gets some allowances such as grade pay rs 5400 and DA,HRS etc. The gross amount reaches almost rs 36000 per month. Best wishes.... |

Re: Basic pay and incentives for an IES officer? Dear Friend The starting basic pay of an IES officer is around Rs.15,000. The Grade pay use to be around Rs.6,000. Also D.A., HRA and other allowances are added to reach the final salary of around Rs. 35-40,000. The allowances vary according to the services(departments). Apart from salary many other facilities are provided which is available only for first class officers. |
