Re: Job with CID after graduation in Commerce? hii Job with CID after graduation in Commerce posts for CID are filled though Three routes- 1.UPSC- Officers are selected through IPS, for which you have to appear for Civil Services Examination,generally people in top 200 get IPS ranks.Minimum qualification is graduation. 2.State PUblic Commission-Same as above you have to appear for different state level exams and be in top ranks.,selections are done by state Police headquarters. Further several of the officers selected through above procedures get deputation in CID, The qualification for sub- inspector and above levels i.e. officers grade is graduation so you are qualified to be an officer.. further for police service there are certain minimum physical requirement as well which have to be fullfilled. IPS physical requirement: For IPS- Height – Male 165 cm Pahari Male (general also) & ST (not the SC/ OBC) – 160 cm Female 150 cm Pahari Female (general also) & ST (not SC/ OBC)- 145 cm Chest – Male Minimum 84 cm. Expansion 5 cm. Female Min 79 cm expansion 5 cm. Eye sight – 6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good eye. 6/12 or 6/9 for worst eye. Re: Job with CID after graduation in Commerce? Dear, CID means Criminal Investigation Department and it is a Intelligence service. CID exam conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). Minimum Educational Eligibility for CID: - 1. For CID constable - Pass 12th standard from a regonised board. 2. For CID Sub Inspector - He / She should have passed graduation in criminology, arts or science from a regonised institute / university. After graduation in Commerce you are not eligible for CID exam.
