Generally Selection procedure for Tcs is

should be have academic back ground Minimum 60%

should not have more than two years education gap

1)Written test In written test main concentration on Aptitude,Reasoning ,Vocab and functional grammar

2)GD

3)Technical Interview

See M.TECH admission purely depends on GATE exam rather than B.tech percentage...
Code:
If the candidate get good percentile in Gate Exams like above 95 percentile.
and yes sure above 95 percentile can get good colleges like iit's and niit's..
Code:

Yes you can choose any subject in M.Tech for which you have interest and want to see your career in that..this is purely upon you..
Code:
Which is the best course in IIT-Roorkee?
All courses are good in IIT-Roorke but i think its best in electronic subjects..
Code:

Eligibility Criteria for TCS selection is :-

THE FIRST THING ABOUT THE PERCENTAGE FOR IIT IS THAT MIN 60%IS NECESSARY FOR IIT BY ANY BOARD.AND THE CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION INTO IIT FOR B TECH IS DONE BY THE IIT JEE EXAM.And there is no condition for percentage in aieee ,only passing marks are necessary. The admission to NITS are on the basis of ur performance in AIEEE exam. And for MTECH GATE EXAM has to be given.

well you have asked many questions

i'll try to answer them one by one

yes you can get admission in IITs/NITs with you 75 % score

in fact its a very good score.

yes and No !!
you can change the stream to some extent where the M.Tech subject is mostly

a derivative of your B.Tech subject

sometimes it is possible to change stream to a larger extent.

it will depend upon the institute

Hi dear
you want to now get in iit for m.tech study
for this you go for entrance like:--

gate

this is a entrance exam in which if you get the score then you get admission in iit or nit according to your number....

Gate score card i svalid up to 2 years]

so b.tech 3rd year and 4th year student also apply for this......

For tcs this year declar those have 70% career they have directly entry in the hr round .....

Re: What is the Criteria to get admission in iit's or nit's for m.tech?? What is the top course at IIT-Roorkee? What is the selection criteria for TCS?

It is possible to get admission but depends on what your scope in B.Tech is. You will need to ensure that you score above 97 percentile in the GATE exam. Changing subjects is possible but it depends on the area that choose in B.Tech. The courses offered by IIT Roorkee are all quite popular. Normally companies like TCS consider application from candidates who have consistently secured at least a first class academically.
