Re: Admission in E&TC engineering direct 2nd year? You can take admission direct in 2nd year of B.tech if you have passed Diploma. Diploma passed student can take direct admission in 2nd year of B.Tech. For admission in 2nd year you have to contact in the college in which you want to take admission.for admission in 2nd year there is no any entrance exam. Admission in 2nd year depends upon the collge.If you take admission in 2nd year of B.Tech after diploma B.Tech will be very easy for you.Diploma course is also included in B.Tech course. |

If you are finish 12th you join B.tech (E&TC) directly first year. the course duration for direct first year B.Tech is 4years. otherwise, you finish diploma and join engineering 2nd year directly. the course duration for B.Tech after finishing diploma is 3years. |

Then if you fulfill the second criteria then you can take admission in any college who has LATERAL ENTRY FACILITY..in which you will get admission into 2nd year of B.Tech..But for IT there is no option for 2nd year admission even after diploma... Diploma is of 3years +B.tech of 3years = 6 years 12th class 2 years + B.tech of 4 years = 6 years So there is no difference in years so instead of concentrating on these matter try to get good college for Engineering.. |
