No you can not choose Human Rights because it is not included in the list of optional subjects in IAS. But you can choose public administration. So choose another subject from here: Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Commerce and Accountancy, Economics, Electrical Engineering, Geography, Geology, History, Law, Management, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Medical Science, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science and International Relations, Psychology, Public Administration, Sociology, Statistics, Zoology. Literatures: Arabic, Assamese, Bengali, Chinese, English, French, German, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Marathi, Malayalam, Manipuri, Nepali, Oriya, Pali, Persian, Punjabi, Russian, Sanskrit, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu. |

the optional subject selection is very critical stage where every civils aspirant will have to face some sort of confusion but it is the most important stage for every civils aspirant. you can choose optional subjects only from this list ->General Studies ->Agriculture ->Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science ->Botany ->Chemistry ->Civil Engineering ->Commerce ->Economics ->Electrical Engineering ->Geography ->Geology ->Indian History ->Law ->Mathematics ->Mechanical Engineering ->Medical Science ->Philosophy ->Physics ->Political Science ->Psychology ->Public Administration ->Sociology ->Statistics ->Zoology -> Anthropology these are the optionals available for you in mains examination after clearing your prelims so select from these subjects as human rights is not visible you should take another subject with public administration Regards ~AdityA~ |
