Hi dear, To apply for BITSAT exam candidate should have at least 80% in aggregate .As your son have little less than 80% ,so think he is not eligible for the exam . Re: Eligibility for bitsat exam if percentage is just below 80%? Dear pal, BITSAT is conducted for administration into the degree courses in BITS campus. The qualifying exam for applying for the exam is 10+2 examinations conducted by the state as well as central board choosing mathematics,physics ,chemistry as your subject. You need to have secured a over all aggregate of 80% with 60% in maths ,physics,chemistry. the aspirant is eligible to appear immediately after finishing his 12th exam and the following year failing to appear for that time he/she result in losing their chance of applying for the exam |

Re: Eligibility for bitsat exam if percentage is just below 80%? For those who are not eligible: Why not give an improvement exam from your respective 10 2 boards? Get 80% PCM average with minimum 60% in each subject consisting of PCM. And you'll be eligible. |

Sorry to say you sir, but your son is not eligible for BITSAT because the minimum 80% recuire for admission in bitsat. But sir, your son got a very good percentage. Please dont loose hope your son is eligible for many entrance exams like wbjee, aieee, etc. I am sure your son will achieve best in any field. All the best and thank you! |

Re: Eligibility for bitsat exam if percentage is just below 80%? hi or BITSAT admission 2010 to any of the above Integrated First Degree Programmes, candidates should have passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Further the candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 80% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in 12th examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects and should have adequate proficiency in English. so you are not eligible. all the best |
