Re: Age limit for CDS exam? Hi CDS means Civil Defense Services. Now it has got various wings, departments and organizations, whereas you have nowhere mentioned about which wing or post you want to know the age limit. I am listing a few posts in the CDS, and their respective age limits vary from posts to posts. Age LIMIT For CDS Exams Are - 1. IMA - Only unmarried male candidates can apply for this, and your age should be between 19 and 24 years. 2. Navy - Only unmarried male candidates can apply and their age should be between 19 and 22 years in the year of applying. 3. Air Force - Only unmarried male candidates whose age is between 19 to 23 years can apply. 4. Lastly Officers Training Academy - Male candidates (married or unmarried doesn't matter) but should be between 19to 25 years. I am also uploading a file for more detailed information. Re: Age limit for CDS exam? hi friend. for these there are different age limits for the different posts.. some of the posts and their age limit is given below.. for IMA post you should be unmaried and your age should be in between (19 to 24 years..) for naval academy--unmarried male wieh the age limits of(19 to 22 years..) for air force academy--unmarried male candidates between(19 to 23.) for OTA.. age limit is between(19 to 25 years) i hope these helps you... all the best for it.. thank you.. |

For Indian Military Academy – The candidate should be male, unmarried & should have birth year between 2nd July 1981 to 1st July 1986. 2.) For Naval Academy – unmarried male born not earlier than 2nd July 1983 & not earlier than 1st July 1986 are eligible. 3.) For Air Force Academy – those are are unmarried male & born 2nd July 1982 & 1st July 1986 are eligible. 4.) For Officers Training Academy - Male candidates (both married & unmarried) born between 2nd July 1980 to 1st July 1986 are eligible. Thanks. |

Final year graduation students may also apply. Age Limit: For Indian Military academy - 19 to 23 years. For Indian Air Force Academy - 19 to 23 years. For Officer's Training Academy - 19 to 25 years. Re: Age limit for CDS exam? Hi Combined Defence Service examination is conducted twice in a year. The students who have completed their graduation are eligible for this exam. The age limit for CDS under various academy of defence is given below. You can check your eligibility according to the academy in which you are applying. 1.For IMA For Indian Military Academy age limit is between 19 - 24 years. The candidates who have a degree from recognized university are eligible for this. For OTA For the OTA entry the age limit is between 19 - 25 years For NA For Naval Academy your age should be between 19 - 22 years For AFA 1 For the Air Force academy your age should be between 19 - 23 years. So if your age is according to the requirement then you are eligible to apply for the CDS. |
