Hi dear, NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST (NET) Pattern for NET exam will be divided in two parts:-- PART A(two and a half hour) There will be 40 objective type questions and Candidates are required to answer any 25 questions. If candidate answers more than 25 questions, only the first 25 answers will be evaluated. All questions shall be of 2 marks each. and there will be negative marks for each wrong answer.. Syllabus:--- General information on Science and its interface with society to test the candidate’s awareness of science, aptitude of scientific and quantitative reasoning. COMMON ELEMENTRY COMPUTER SCIENCE: PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTIONS SIMPLE ALGORITHMS AND COMMPUTATIONAL METHODS PART B(two and a half hour) Syllabus:-- It will contain specilalized subject choosed by candidate and since your specialization is life science..your syllabus will be MOLECULES AND THEIR INTERACTION RELAVENT TO BIOLOGY CELLULAR ORGANIZATION FUNDAMENTAL PROCESSES CELL COMMUNICATION AND CELL SIGNALING DEVELOPMENTAL BIOLOGY SYSTEM PHYSIOLOGY - PLANT SYSTEM PHYSIOLOGY - ANIMAL INHERITANCE BIOLOGY DIVERSITY OF LIFE FORMS ECOLOGICAL PRINCIPLES EVOLUTION AND BEHAVIOUR APPLIED BIOLOGY METHODS IN BIOLOGY Thanks |

CSIR-UGC is Exam For Junior Research Fellowship And Eligibility for Lectureship These are the Subjects from which a guy can Choose its subject for Part B Of the Exam Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences, Life Sciences,Mathematical Sciences,Physical Sciences Syllabus/Pattern of the Exam The question paper shall be divided into three parts, (A,B & C) as per syllabus & Scheme of Exam. Part 'A' shall be common to all subjects. This part shall contain questions pertaining to General Science, Quantitative Reasoning & Analysis and Research Aptitude. Part 'B' shall contain subject-related conventional Multiple Choice questions (MCQs), generally covering the topics given in the syllabus. Part 'C' shall contain higher value questions that may test the candidate's knowledge of scientific concepts and/or application of the scientific concepts. The questions shall be of analytical nature where a candidate is expected to apply the scientific knowledge to arrive at the solution to the given scientific problem. CSIR-UGC (NET) EXAM FOR AWARD OF JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR LECTURERSHIP: According to the new pattern, the June, 2011 CSIR-UGC (NET) Exam for Award of Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lecturership will be a Single Paper Test and will have Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).The question paper is divided into 3 sections *The MCQ test paper of each subject shall carry a maximum of 200 marks. *The exam shall be for duration of three hours. *The question paper shall be divided into 3 parts Pattern Of examination: *Section 'A' will be common to all subjects.It will be a test containing a maximum of 20 questions of General Science and Research Aptitude test. The candidates shall be required to answer any 15 questions of two marks each. The total marks allocated to this section is 30 out of 200. *Section 'B' will contain subject-related conventional MCQs. The total marks allocated to this section is 70 out of 200. The maximum number of questions to be attempted shall be in the range of 25-35. *Section 'C' will contain higher value questions that will test your knowledge of scientific concepts and/or application of the scientific concepts. The questions will be of analytical nature where you are expected to apply the scientific knowledge to arrive at the solution to the given scientific problem. The total marks allocated to this section is be 100 out of 200. *There will be negative marking for wrong answers, wherever required, that will be @ 25%, so be careful of answering.
