Minimum - 18 years.

g) UPSC SCRA Exam -

Minimum - 17 years.
Maximum - 21 years.

h) UPSC NDA Exam -

Minimum - 16.5 years.
Maximum - 19 years.

i) UPSC CDSE Exam -

Minimum - 19 years.
Maximum - 24 years.

Age Relaxation for Candidates who comes under Reserved category :

I) SC & ST Category - 5 years.

II) Backward Category - 3 years.

III) Physically Handicapped - 6 years.

IV) Widows for Women's - 8 years.

I have heard that in order to apply for a state government job,the maximum age limit for general category candidates is 36 years.Is it true for central government jobs as well?Please clarify.

Hello friend,
The upper age limit for most of the jobs in government bodies is 30 years for candidates belonging to general category, 33 years for candidates belonging to OBC category and 35 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST category.
