Marks required for admission? hiiiiiiii......... for b.tech every year one common entrance exam was conducted,lot of student appeared that among them diploma students are also there,when result came rank came out ,for diploma students LE rank came according to this rank they got admission in a good college.no marks requird for addmission.. best of luck |

But if you want to take admission in the same college you are studying now in the second year then you should consult your administration of your college because they may give the appropriate information. So, its better to consult them and your seniors. |

Yes of course you can take admission in the second year of the Engineering course but you need to go through the entrance exam conducted by the State board.You can even go through exams like IITJEE and AIEEE but you need to study the Engineering course from the first year if you opt for IIT and AIEEE. A separate entrance exam is conducted for the diploma students State wide for entrance into Engineering.Each University and college provides lateral entry for the students who have completed Diploma but colleges which are under the University allow students to go through the Engineering course from the second year.But if scored well in the entrance exams please choose a University rather than a college under the University. Each State provides entrance exam for diploma students for entry into Engineering colleges.Each University and college reserves almost 6 or more seats for lateral entry but the only difference is University reserves in the first year and colleges under University reserve the seats in the second year. |
