Re: NITs or IITs after 271 score in GATE and belonging to SC category? Hi, Your GATE score is 271, which I think is way too low for you to get any seat in the IIT's or NIT's. GATE : Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is the entrance exam for the M.Tech courses. Now it is of maximum 1000 marks, out of which a candidate has to score a minimum 850+ marks, or more than 95 percentile. As far as the SC/ST are concerned, the minimum marks that you must score is minimum 450+ to get admission in any of the good colleges. |
