To do MCA after BSc Computer science you have to give JECA/JAM exam. the criteria which is required for applying in the MCA admission exam is given below 1.minimum graduation in science qualification. 2.minimum 50% marks in graduation. 3.Math in 12th. all the best............. |

Re: What is the process of MCA admission for a student of BSc Computers? Hi friend, ADMISSION FOR MCA COURSE: Being already an science student ,you can apply for MCA in any of the colleges. You have choose the best colleges and you have to prepare for your entrance exams. Eligibility: In ug degree you must have 55% aggregate marks. According to your entrance ranking ,you can placed in any of the colleges . All the best. |

Re: What is the process of MCA admission for a student of BSc Computers? To get admission for MCA you have to give certain entrance exams of your choice. On the basis of the rank obtained in those exams, you will get admission accordingly. For example, NIMCET -- it is the Entrance Exam for MCA in National Institutes of Technology (NITs). By getting a very good percentage in that exam, you can get admitted in the NITs. Some other exams are: AIMCET -- it is the Entrance Exam for MCA in IITs. PU MCA -- it is the entrance exam for MCA in Pune university. Maharashtra MAH MCA-CET -- it is the MCA Common Entrance Test in Maharashtra. and so on. You have to sit for those in which you are interested. |

If you have done your graduation in BSC computers and you want to puruse higher education in MCA then its a great choice and you are eligible for doing MCA. Eligibility for MCA: You must have finished your graduation from a recognized college or must have done BBA/BCA . Math is a compulosry subject that is require if you want to do MCA. It is a three year course.If you want to pursue this course from top colleges then you have to take JAM exam which is to get admission to the IIT's and you can also take NIMCET exam which is conducted to select meritorious students for NIT's. There are many companies which hire MCA students who are technically very sound in programming and the networking field .MNC companies like MICROSOFT ,INFOSYS,WIPRO,TCS hires MCA students and give them very high package .There are wide opportunities of working outside India too. The package given to MCA students is around 3 to 4 lakh . MCA students can work in all these fields :: Systems Development Application Software Software Development Hardware Technology Systems Engineering Networking Internet working |

Re: What is the process of MCA admission for a student of BSc Computers? The process of admission will be similar for candidates from any background. First there will be a written test. Only those clearing this round will be called for the interview round. Normally the syllabus will be from areas like Mathematics, Physics and Computer science. You can refer to the previous year papers of the exam you plan to appear. |
