Re: M.Tech after MCA doing the mastering degree is always preffered over bachelor degree, so i would suggest you to join M.tech after B.tech instead of going for MBA,MCA. it will increase your pay package and knowledge also . all the best for your future. |

Re: M.Tech after MCA dear friend, You can go for M.tech course after MCA.. As you have done your MCA course from IGNOU, which is a recognized university, then you can go for M.tech course.. For that you have to appear in GATE exam.. Eligibility for GATE exam:- *One must have complete the bachelor degree in the field of engineering/Architecture.. or, *One must have complete the master degree in the field of MBA/MCA/M.Sc.. *There is no age limit.. *The validity of GATE score is 2 years.. *The candidate also can appear in GATE exam during the final year of graduation or Post graduation.. These are the eligibility criteria to appear in GATE exam.. As you have done your MCA course, then you can go GATE exam.. All the best.. |

Re: M.Tech after MCA Hi dear, yes you do MTECH but you have already master degree in computer application .. so i suggest you go through PHD..if you are interested in higher studies ... and you also do MTECH prepare for GATE exam .. get good percentile and take admission in IIT... and if you are interested in job then go for it ...think about yourself then decide , what to do... Re: M.Tech after MCA no u cant do it and it is not advisable to. since both are postgraduate course and in different stream.it is not necessary and u can try for any programmer job in any computer stream company. u can also write bank exam. i request u to register in shine website to get update job. i wish u best of luck. |

Re: M.Tech after MCA hi, You can opt for the MS programme in Software Systems offered by the BITS, PILANI. You can get in touch with the Dean, Distance learning Programme Division as it would be difficult to go for a regular M.Tech programme. For details about the pre-requisites for M.Tech., check the prospectus of GATE, which is the entrance exam for M.Tech. program and the eligibility criteria for the branch you want to opt for in the Institute you wish to apply for. |

And now i have 3.4yrs of experience in software development field.But still not able to get job in big companies like HCL,IBM,Wipro etc. just becouse of my distance course from ignou. Re: M.Tech after MCA since you have already completed, MCA why cant you join a job and get experience, as one of our friend said, if you are very much interested you can do mtech in distance mode.MCA is considered an equivalent of B.Tech by all universities in India. For the list of approved M.Tech. institutes in Kolkata, please visit www.aicte.ernet.in and download the list of approved colleges. |
