Re: Any chance to get a govt job after scoring 60% aggregate? dear friend, Yes, my friend you can apply for all govt. jobs, as you have 60% aggregate. The eligibility criteria for Govt. job- One must have 60% aggregate through out the career.. One should have the citizenship of India. Age criteria- For general category the age should be in between 21-30years.. For SC/ST the age relaxation is 5years... For OBC the age relaxation is 3years.. These are the criteria you have to follow to appear in govt. jobs.. You can apply for govt. jobs in fields like - Telecommunication, Banking , Railway etc.. For getting govt. jobs you have to appear in written test first, after clearing the test you have to go through interview session..So go for it.. All the best.. |

Re: Any chance to get a govt job after scoring 60% aggregate? Hello friend, Most of the Govt sector industries require at least 60% marks in graduation. So there will be no such bigger problem with your percentage. You are eligible for many of the Govt sector jobs with this percentage. Have knowledge and news of the publication of vacancies in Govt jobs. Just keep on applying for those exams and then try to crack the interviews. Good luck! |

Re: Any chance to get a govt job after scoring 60% aggregate? First of all you have to decide on the area where you would like to pursue a career. Since you are from the computer science stream you have various option like banking, telecom etc. Most of the government organisations call for candidates whose score is above 55%. If your score falls within the range then you must apply. You must be prepared for the various tests. Also it will be good if have some experience too. |
