Yes you can opt for Btech after your graduation and age limit is 21-30 yrs For its preparation you can check the syllabus and pattern of exam at the upsc website i.e www.upsc.gov.in And accordingly you can prepare Some basic tips are: 1.Read newspaper daily 2.Read ncert books class 6th till 10th 3.Enhance your GK. 4.Prepare your aptitude from RS aggarwal. These are few tips you need lot more to do.. |

Re: After btech from computer science can i do IAS? dear friend , you can apply for the ias exam after the completion of your graduation in any discipline from the recognized indian university. because the completion of the graduation is the minimum requirement to apply for the ias exam. and important requirement is the age requirement that is the candidate who applying for the ias exam the age candidate must be in between 21 to 30 years. there is relaxation of the three and five years for the obc and sc/st category candidates respectively. ias exam is consist of the three main parts . 1) preliminary exam 2) main exam 3) interview. the subjects like general studies , current affairs , general knowledge , etc are important as the ias exam is concerned. to know more latest notifications of the ias exam kindly visit the website www.upsc.gov.in thanks and best luck |

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: To apply for IAS your age should be 21-30 years for general category. For OBC it should be 33 years maximum. For ST/SC it should be 35 years maximum. Re: After btech from computer science can i do IAS? Dear, Yes , you can now apply for the IAS exam because the minimum educational qualification required is to be a graduate. In order to appear for the IAS or IPS exam you need to clear the CSAT i.e. Civil Services Aptitude Test conducted by the UPSC. The age limitation is between 21-30 years with 5 years relaxation for the SC/ST candidates and 3 years for the OBC categories. General awareness is quite important in the preparation of IAS or IPS exam. Some of the recommended books from my side are as follows:-  . . .General categories get 4 while reserved categories get 7 attempts to crack the exam. Thanks. |

Since you will be a computer graduate then it would not a difficult issue for you to solve optional subject of computer. And also you will be appointed as a JEn which better post . |
