The pattern, approach and procedure of placement varies from company to company. There is nothing like all the companies follow a single procedure and rules. In general there will be 3 to 8 rounds (no. depends on company).. But the main rounds are... 1 HR round 2 Logical Reasoning 3 Verbal Ability 4 Technical Round (where the panelist asks you questions based on subject) Further there are many other rounds like group discussions, debate, etc., which will be wholly conducted based on company's interest. Generally MNCs don't conduct any examination like our PSUs conduct examination for entry at Jr. executive and officers posts. MNCs generally recruit B. Tech or post graduate students from top engineering colleges only through campus placement during their final year of graduation or post graduation. During this placement session they shortlist students on the basis of grades or an application then those shortlisted candidates are interviewed or sometime a Group discussion or interview is conducted. Any common examination by an MNC for diploma holders is not known. If you are interested in working for an MNC then it would be good that first you take up a job in Indian industries and after 3-4 years you directly apply to the company of your interest. Your working experience would be much more valuable then and you would get chance to get in. Thank You |
