Hello friend, Yes, computer science freshers can get Govt job,but the opportunities are much less than other core engineering branches. You can apply for UPSC exams to get into the civil services like IAS/IES etc. Also there are opportunities in the Govt undertaking sectors like SAIL,CIL, BSNL-JTO etc. Railways and banks also recruit computer science freshers every year. You will have to keep eyes on the vacancy advertisements in the daily newspapers and also in the internet. Best wishes.. |

Re: Is it possible for computer science freshers to get a government job? Yes But when compared to other departments, possibility is less. because there is only few PSU's asking for cse graduates. I list some BSNL JTO, management trainee in SAIL and other PSUs BANK technical officer |
