CBI i.e Central bureau of Investigation is one of the a specialized wing in India which deals with many popular cases with police and finds out the motive of the crime and the culprit . To join in CBI you need to write the CGPE EXAM also called SSC conducted by UPSC every year for recruitment in the CBI.The examination is held generally once a year for the post of Sub-Inspectors of Police in Central Bureau of Investigation. Eligibility :: You should be between 20-25 years as on 1st January of the year of examination. The upper age limit may be relaxed in respect of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes. You must posses degree of a recognized University. |

Re: Procedure to become CBI Officer being a candidate of pursuing B.Tech in CSE? Hi friend, To become a CBI officer you must clear an exam called CGPE conducted by UPSC. And after that you need to apply and get selected by staff selection board for staff ranks or get selected for IPS and go to CBI on deputation. Minimum qualification to become a CBI is to be a graduate. |

To apply for CBI entrance exam you must have graduation.graduation is must to apply for CBI entrance exam. There are various branches of CBI- State Crime Investigation Bureau Finger Print Bureau and Scientific Section. To apply for these post you must have graduation. Re: Procedure to become CBI Officer being a candidate of pursuing B.Tech in CSE? dear friend, as you are pursuing your B.tech in CSE then after completion of your bachelor degree you can appear in CBI exams.. The eligibility criteria for CBI exam- Educational qualification- The candidate must be a bachelor degree holder in any discipline.. The age criteria- The age should be in between 20-27years. for general category.. For SC/ST the age relaxation is of 5years and for OBC the age relaxation is of 3years.. Physical fitness- Hight-165cms for men.. hight-150cms for Women.. chest-76cms for men.. for Women there is no such criteria.. eye sight- Distance vision-6/6 in one eye, 6/9 in other eye. near vision-0.6 in one eye, 0.9 in other eye. Process to become an ASI in CBI- You have to first appear in a preliminary exam ... when you will qualified in preliminary exam then you can go for the main exam. After clearing the main exam you have to go through the interview.. where they will test your mental ability and personality.. so, if you wants to go in CBI as ASI then start preparation..
