DEAR FRIEND • For IMA: Candidates must be unmarried male in the age group of 19 and 24 as on 1st January or 1st July of the year following the year of examination • For Naval Academy: Candidates must be unmarried male in the age group or 19 and 22 as on 1st January or 1st July of the year following the year of examination • For Air Force Academy: Candidates must be unmarried male in the age group or 19 and 23 as on 1st January or 1st July of the year following the year of examination • For OTA: Candidates must be married/unmarried male in the age group or 19 and 25 as on 1st January or 1st July of the year following the year of examination Educational Qualification: Candidate must be a graduate in any field. Re: Eligibility Criteria of CDS exam? Dear friend CDS stand for Combined Defence Service. CDS exam conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) two times in a year. CDS exam is conducts for following wings:- Indian Military Academy :- Candidate should be complete Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognised university. Age should be between 19 years to 24 years. Indian Naval Academy:- Candidate should be complete a Graduation degree with studied maths,phyaics,chemistry in b.tech or equivalent from a recignised University. Age should be between 19 years to 22 years. Indian Airforce:- Candidate should be complete a Graduation degree with PCM sujects in b.tech or equivalent from a recognised University. Age should be between 19 years to 23 years. Officer's Training Academy:- Candidate should be complete Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognised university. Age should be between 19 years to 25 years. There is no age relaxation for CDS exam. Candidate should be an Indian Citizen. Selection process:- - Written exam, - Personal interview, - Medical test. Dear There, If you are pursuing Graduation (Final Year) in any stream from Sharda University you are eligible to apply for CDS examination on the basis of educational qualification. There are other eligibility criteria required for CDS exam a candidate must fulfill. This exam is conducted by UPSC twice every year as CDS I & CDS II. CDS examination is conducted in three stages: i) Written Exam ii) SSB Interview iii) Medical Test Successful candidates in CDS exam are recruited in the following Wings of Indian Defense: * Indian Military Academy * Naval Academy * Air Force Academy * Officer`s Training Academy Qualifications needed for CDS examinations are as follows : * Passed Graduation or pursuing in final year in any stream from a recognized college/university * No certain percentage of marks required in Graduation. * Age eligibility criteria for different Wings : Indian Military Academy – 19 to 22 years Indian Naval Academy – 19 to 23 years Indian Air Force Academy – 19 to 24 years Officer’s Training Academy – 19 to 25 years * Citizenship – Indian or, A subject of Nepal / Bhutan. * Candidates can apply until there age falls between the age limit criteria. If you are pursuing Graduation final year from sharda university , then you are eligible for the CDS Exam. The Acronym "CDS" stands for Combined Defense Services Examination. This Examination gives Graduate candidates the chance to join the Indian defense Services through the below mentioned wings : ** Indian Military Academy ** Naval Academy ** Air Force Academy ** Officer`s Training Academy The CDS Exam is conducted every year twice by the Union Public Service Commission as CDS-I and CDS-II in the months of February and September. Re: Eligibility Criteria of CDS exam? Hi As u know what MPSC means (Maharashtra Public Service Commission) conducts exams for the various cadres of Officers in the Maharashtra State Services. There are basically 3 classes of cadres, known as Class I, Class II, and Class III. For each of these exams, there are different eligibility criteria, including age limits. However, there are no limits to the number of times you can appear for the MPSC exams. You can appear as many times as you want provided you are still within the required age limits. The CDS(combined defence services) exam is conducted by UPSC (UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION) every year. through this exam one can apply for - 1.military wing(age limit 19-25) 2.naval wing(age limit 19-23) 3.air force wing(age limit 19-24.) of the indian army. for military wing you just have to complete your graduation from a recognized college. but for apply in naval or air wing you must have physics & maths and passed with at least 60%. also your nationality must be indian and having marital status unmarried. thanks!!! |

For Naval academy: Only male unmarried candidates with 19-22 years of age are eligible. For Air force academy: Only male unmarried candidates with 19-23 years of age are eligible. For Officer's training academy: Unmarried or married male candidates with 19-25 years of age are eligible. Thank you. |

Educational Qualification: Candidate must be a graduate in any field. Final year students may apply. For IAF and Navy, Physics and Maths is compulsory. Age Limits: For IMA:19-23 years. Re: Eligibility Criteria of CDS exam? Hi, CDS exam eligibility requirements are as follows: Educational Qualifications : 1. For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy-Degree of a recognised University or equivalent. 2. For Indian Naval Academy : Degree in Engineering. 3. For Air Force Academy : Degree of Recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering. Graduates with first choice as Army / Navy / Air Force are to submit proof of graduation provisional certificates on the date of commencement of the SSB Interview at the SSB. Candidates who are studying in the final year Degree course and have yet to pass the final year degree examination can also apply but they will be required to submit proof of passing the degree examination to reach the Army HQ/Rtg. Re: Eligibility Criteria of CDS exam? hello dear exam date for CDS-2011 is over in 13.02.2011 (SUNDAY). you may try for 2012. minimum graduation in qualification is required to appear in the CDS exam. for more in formation check-www.upsc.gov.in. all the best........... |
