i have qualified engineering services written exam two time sbut unfortunately coudnt clear intervew by few marks. but based on engineering service score card i have got the call from cabinet sect. two times for different post. 1 senior field officer 2. senior research officer. so i think sometimes they directly call the waiting list candidates of central govt exam. i didnt go for the interview (coz i am already central govt employ ,it need NOC) so i dont know what kind of question they ask.. |

Government of India realized that a specialized, independent agency was required for competent external intelligence gathering. The R&AW has its headquarters in New Delhi, and the current director of the organization is Sanjeev Tripathi, a 1973 Uttar Pradesh batch IPS officer who later shifted to the R&AW Allied Service (RAS) cadre. R&AW has been organized on the lines of the CIA. The Director of R&AW is designated "Secretary (Research)" in the Cabinet Secretariat. Most of the previous Directors have been experts on either Pakistan or China. child agencies of RAW- The Aviation Research Centre The Radio Research Center Electronics & Tech. Services National Tech.
