Sir, i have passed the ugc-NET exam and i am a ph.d candidate under gauhati university. I would like to apply the ICSSR doctoral fellowship. Can i apply now? Can you please tell me how many candidates will they assist? Are the chances for me getting selected less or more for the fellowship? The information in their website is insufficient. Please give me the details.

You have a good chance of getting selected, as you have already have qualified UGC NET. You will more chances than candidates who don't have this score.

You can apply for it, when there is a notification. Selection will be on merit and nobody can predict whether you will be selected of not. You can only know after applying.
