Whether a CA is eligible to appear in JRF to study PhD in Economics in IIT-Madras?
Hello
Is CA candidate from ICAI qualification enough for one to write JRF in Economics.? Because i understand that JRF is essential for doing a Phd. in IIT (Madras) in Economics. |

Yes you can apply for Ph.D admission if you have completed CA with at least 55% marks from a recognized Institute. There is relaxation of 5% marks for candidates who belong to reserved category.
For admission in Ph.D you can use score like CAT/NET/JRF/GRE in a Ph.D program. IITs and IIMs offer admission based on these scores only. Hence, if you want to get admission in Ph.D program of these top Institutes then try to clear any of these exams with a good score. |
