I want to B.ed Course. have done my 2nd puc 2009. give complete details abt B.ed course and elgbility

B.Ed. – Bachelor of Education.

Now a days government has made it compulsory that a candidate aspiring to become a teacher must be A B.Ed. qualified and then TET qualified.

B.Ed. is the necessary requirement in a teacher's profile.

B.Ed. is provided by many universities in India and can be done by qualifying entrance tests conducted by various universties.

This course's duraton is one year.

It can be done through a regular mode or through a correspondence mode.

A candidate who has a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50 % from a recognised university is eligible to appl;y for B.Ed.course entrace test.

Every state conducts B.ed. entrance exam.

There are many government as well as private colleges that condut this course.

ELIGIBILITY FOR B.ED COURSE:-
> Pass graduation with steam which you want to teach in school with minimum 50% marks.
For ST/SC candidate minimum 45% marks is require.
> The age limit is 21-26 year.
For ST/SC candidate 21-30 year.

You can do B.Ed through Regular or distance education.

I have done my secondary and juniour college in vernacular medium, and graduation in English medium.....My question is that shall I get admission to B.ed in english medium?

I am doing B. Com (honors) and after graduation I want to do B-ed. Can I get a good teaching Job if I do this course from North Bengal University?

B.Ed means Bachelor in Education.
This degree is necessary for a teacher's job.Any recognized school or college will not appoint you as a teacher in their respective colleges id do not atleast have a B.Ed.
Some schools or colleges do emphasize on an M.Ed which can be done after a B.ed only.

The eligibility criteria for B.Ed is that you must have a graduation degree from a recognized university in any field with a minimum passing percentage of 50% in it.

The course has a duration of 1 year and one can opt for a full time course or a correspondence course.
The entrance exams are conducted in all the states of the country every year on the basis of which you get admission in a college.

I am OBC candidate of Uttar Pradesh, I have got 45% in graduation and I have completed one year B.Ed. course from other state in session 2013-14. Please suggest me my degree is valid or not?
