i was selected through the campus recruitment program in SYNTEL in the month of Jan. then the package announced by syntel was 2.85L per annum.But now i have heard the new that the package has been increased to 3.2L. is this news true? if yes please provide the source of information

The salary package that is offered by any company is always dynamic and keeps on changing. It can decrease or Increase.

I don't have any information regarding which college are you from, but Syntel is a singapore based company, and one of the recruiters in India. They offer salary packages ranging from 2.8 lacs p.a up to 3.6 and even 4.2 lacs p.a.

To be very frank, this thing depends on mainly two things :

1. Which college or University you belong to. That name creates a difference, and how many students it is recruiting from your college.

More the no. of students, lesser would be the package.

2. What qualities do YOU personally have in you. What is the X-Factor in you. If you are thorough with your knowledge, and are able to impress them to the best, then they can raise their bar and make you the candidate getting the highest package in your college.

But if you are an average, and your attitude, result everything is just average, then the package would be the same.

Now you can make out the reason, that when they went to some other college or campus, they have increased their package according to that.

syntel came to my coll selected 30 members till gd around they did not come for technical around yet ,they will really come to coll for taking the remaining arounds?
