Yes, engineering students are eligible to give bank exams. To give bank exams one should have a bachelors degree from recognized University.

IBPS conducts Common Written exams and Common Interviews for nationalized banks for various posts like Clerk,PO,Specialist Officers.

The educational eligibility is any degree from recognized University.

Candidate shouldn't be less than 21 years and more than 30 years for general category. However there is age relaxation for reserved category candidates as 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST and 10 years for PWD Category.

As the number of Engineering students is increasing in these bank exams, you should have an appropriate answer at the interview time like why you are choosing banking field.
