Is IGNOU Diploma accepted by all other universities?


I am a final year student of diploma offered by IGNOU,I am doing my diploma in Kerala.Can i join for b-tec lateral entry in any university in kerala?I heard Ignou diploma is accepted in only few universities,is it true?Please help me with my doubts.

IGNOU is open universities so, no any Regular University to take B.tech, Your diploma not valid,
