I am applying for BTC. As mentioned in BTC form only science and art background students can apply. Is BCA student and passed 10 and 12 in science can apply?

yes ,they can.
but with a extra paper in the curriculum.

BCA student can apply in BTC and what will the group which are science or art

Ofcourse, you can apply for BTC. Different institutes offering BTC have their own educational criteria.

The minimum eligibility required for BTC is to pass 10+2 exam with at least 45% marks.

In UP state minimum educational qualification required is a bachelor's degree.

The SCERT U.P. (Uttar Pradesh State Council of Educational Research & Training) has advertised for the BTC 2010 Training program. Those who wants to take admission in 2 years BTC course they can read the detailed advertisement from the Uttar Pradesh SCERT Website.

Name of Course : BTC (Basic Teacher Certificate)

Duration of Course : 2 years

Education Qualification : 10+2/ Intermediate with at least 50% marks

Age : 21-35 years

Last Date : 08 June 2010

Those who wants to apply for the BTC 2010 course they can visit the UP SCERT website for further details. The UP BTC application form and advertisement is published on the UP SCERT Website. Those who wants to download the advertisement and application form they can download. The application and advertisement is in “Krutidev” font. Thus if you see any problem in reading then copy and paste the contents from the UP SCERT website and paste it in the notepad or wordpad and then change the font to KRUTIDEV you would be able to read every thing. If you have not installed the KRUTIDEV font on your computer then you will just see the garbage on your screen.

Yes you are surely eligible for the BTC exam,It is of two-years duration with a total intake of 50. It will be introduced as a regular course.

The Eligibility criteria for the BTC entrance exam is that you must be passed class 12 and have atleast 45% marks.

As far as BTC is concerned you need to be only graduate and at present time the selection was based on the merit so you eed to have percentage of marks in all your 10,12, and graduation as combined merit is made on the baisi of your marks.
