how can i go for good llb college ...
is clat exam compulsory?

CLAT stands for Common Law Admission Test. As you have asked that it is necessary to attend CLAT exam for getting in good college the, yes it is necessary exam for getting in good law college.

CLAT exam is conducted by 14 National Law University for those who want to build their career in Law.

Candidate should have completed at least their intermediate (10+2) or equivalent course from the recognized board exam. And candidates should possess at least 45% in their 12th. Relaxation for SC/ST/PH category student applicable that is 40% applicable.

Age Criteria:

• Minimum age 20 yeas.
• Upper age limit should not exist 27 years.
• Relaxation as per government rule.

You can get admission for LLB course without CLAT scorecard. Since, you are aspiring to get admission for LLB course in reputed college. having CLAT score is added advantage in order to get admission for LLB course and you may get first preference at the time of admission as well. Many LLB universities accept CLAT exam scorecard. So, I suggest you to participate in CLAT exam and try to score good marks to get admission for LLB course in reputed colleges.

CLAT (i.e) Common Law Admission Test and it is an All India Entrance Examination. This Examination is conducted by 14 National Law Universities.

• 12th standard in any subject area with 55% marks from a recognized University.
• Those candidates who belong to SC / ST / PWD category are required to posses only 45% marks minimum at 12th standard level.

Yes,it is necessary to go for CLAT for getting admission in good law college.

CLAT stands for Common Law Admission Test.It is a common entrance exam for the national law universities of India.

The eligibility criteria for CLAT exam are as under:-

-The candidate must have secured minimum 50%(45% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in 10+2 exam in any stream for LLB course from a recognized board and LLB/B.L.or equivalent for LLM with not less than 55% of marks in aggregate from a recognized university.

-The candidate should not exceed 20 years of age for LLB course.For SC/ST candidate it is 22 years.

-The candidate has to clear CLAT(Common Law Admission Test) exam with good marks to get admission in good law colleges.

-The syllabus for the entrance exam includes;

* Logical Reasoning

*General Awareness

*Aptitude Test

*Communication skills.

if student graduated from b.com can get admission in national level law college for llb without any clat exam
