If you have got Master's degree in relevant subject with at least 55% marks from a recognized University, then surely you can apply for Ph.D admission entrance exam from JNU, New Delhi. There is relaxation of marks for reserved category candidates.

The admission will be based on the entrance examination. Candidates who have got NET/SLET score can apply for Ph.D admission without any entrance examination in JNU. Those who are having NET/SLET score will be preferred for admission. Those having M.Phil qualification are also eligible for direct admission without any entrance examination.
