By getting your name registered after 10th for C.A. enhances your chance of scoring very well in C.A. after 12th, only if you are dedicated towards it.

It enhances your chance of scoring quite well in CPT entrance exams to qualify for C.A.

As you know cracking C.A. in first attempt is not an easy nut to crack, but by getting registered for C.A. before hand will allow you to devote much time towards the preparation the CPT entrance exam and even for C.A.

Moreover, it can save a year or two after your 12th if you prepare well after 10th itself, as many students having will of becoming C.A. drop a year or two after 12th boards in order to prepare for the examinations.

If you prepare well during your schools days, you increase your chances of clearing the entrance exam and getting admission into any C.A. Institutes in the very first attempt, which many fail to achieve.

For registering yourself for intermediate Integrated Professional Competence course you have to pursue Higher Secondary course from a recognized board. You cannot apply for it after 10th, So there will be no benefit for you.

To enroll yourself for the Intermediate (IPC) course you need to give the Common Proficiency Test. Minimum mark requirement for this exam is 55% in 10+2 in science stream or 60% in 10+2 in commerce stream.

Procedure to apply:
You can get the registration form at the Decentralized offices/ Branches of the ICAI Institute.
Fill and submit the registration form to the concerned regional office.
The registration envelope must enclose the following things:
->Demand Draft/Pay Order for Intermediate (IPC) Course registration fee.
->Attested copy of 12th mark sheet.

Yes of course it is beneficial to apply for CA after completing 10th standard. Those students who have completed their 10th standard are eligible to apply for CA. But, they are eligible only after qualifying in 12th board exam. By registering for CA after 10th standard, you can buy the study material earlier and start preparing for the CA after 10th standard. So, you can easily face the CPT exam after 12th standard without much fear. So, If you are interested to do CA then register for it after completing 10th standard and start preparing for CPT exam after 10th.
