Someone please tell me the minimum rank to get psu through gate for obc students?

The selection depends on the stream in which you have got your Engineering degree. If you have done Engineering in Electrical, Electronics and Mechanical Engineering then normally the cut off score goes a bit higher. For stream like Instrumentation and Metallurgical Engineering the cut off is low if we go by the previous selections.

Normally, a GATE score of above 550 is considered a good score for selection in a PSU like HPCL, NTPC, BARC etc. The cut off may vary every year according to the number of vacancies, therefore, if you have qualified GATE then you must apply for a PSU job because it is one of the best option for a Engineering graduate.

You also need marks above 70 to get posted to PSUs via gate. 2 years of preparation is the best you can do. Heard about The GATE Academy which has some good stuff.
