Is it necessary to appear in GRE to study PhD in Bioinformatics in USA for a candidate who has Research experience?

I want to do PhD in Bioinformatics from USA. I have a Research experience with some good National and International publications. Is it necessary to give GRE in this case? Please let me know about this.

Yes, GRE score necessary to do Ph.D in USA.

GRE stands for Graduate Record Examination.

There are no specific eligibility criteria for GRE Test. This examination open for all candidates who are willing to pursue for higher degree in abroad.
