Respected Sir,

I have completed my M Tech ( Nanotechnology) from U.I.E.S.T, Punjab University, Chandigarh. I have secured 1st position and now I am enrolled as a Ph.D student. I would like to apply for the Inspire fellowship. How can I apply for the same? Waiting eagerly for your reply

INSPIRE stands for Innovation in science pursuit for inspired research which is implemented by the department of science and technology (DST).

The candidate has to submit an online application form at http://www.online-inspire.gov.in/

As the last date for submission of online application is over on 30th April, 2015.

As you have secured 1st position in University you are eligible to apply for INSPIRE scholarship.

You are definitely eligible for INSPIRE fellowship..

Following are the details regarding the fellowship:

Eligibility: 1st Rank Holder in each Post-Graduate (PG) level examinations in Basic/ Applied Sciences including Engineering Sciences, Medical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Agricultural sciences and Veterinary Sciences from any recognized University and academic Institutions in India. Similarly, 1st Rank Holders at the Graduate Level Examination in Medicine only conducted by a University/ Institution in India are also eligible to apply.
