Obviously ! it is better do btech in deemed university .
* Advantages :-
-> Certificate has good demand in abroad
-> Infrastructure and facilities will be good .
-> Faculty also good .
-> But only thing the certificate is not valuable in India . it has less preference here .
-> Placements percentage is good in deemed universities .
-> Must select the deemed university which is recognized by UGC .

Yes, you have heard the right news regarding the deemed universities having dispute and approval from the University Grants Commission. So it would be better for you to pursue your bachelor of technology from any state university or central university.

In future you may face some problem regarding the validity of degree in government job entrance examinations. There are so many engineering colleges in India which are approved by the All India council for the Technical Education in which seats remain vacant , so why not to take admission in such colleges instead of taking admission in deemed university.

There are so many colleges in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and in South India where you can take admission.
