How much marks are required to get a seat in Business Schools?

For getting admission in Business schools, the candidate should fulfill the following requirements.

ELIGIBILITY :

* Candidate should have bachelor's degree or equivalent in any stream from any recognized university.

* Candidate should have work experience of minimum 4 years of full-time as on the date of submitting the application form.

* Letter of consent from your employer is required for the candidate to pursue this program.

* TOEFL/ IELTS score is required for the international students.

* For getting admission in Foreign institutes, the candidate should have GMAT score. But, for the Indian School of Business it doesn't require.

* Minimum score for admission in business schools is 600-780 score.

Admissions to top business schools like Indian Institute of Management is done on the basis of percentile achieved in entrance exams like Common Admission Test. For this entrance exam, a candidate must have at least 50% marks in bachelor's degree to be eligible for this exam.

Other than CAT, there are some other entrance exams also for admission in business schools like Management Aptitude test, Xavier's Aptitude test etc.

MAT is held four times every year by All India Institute of Management association. You can appear for any of the exam for getting admission in good business school of India.

You did not mentioned in your question, about the exam. In which exam you are exactly asking about the marks. If you are asking about your 10+2 exams then you should at least get 50% of marks in your class 10th and 12th for taking admissions in Business Schools.

For most of the business schools in India like IIM, Ahmedabad, IIM, Bengaluru, IIM, Calcutta, IIM, Indore, IIM, Kozhikode, IIM, Lucknow, IIM, Ranchi etc. are required Bachelor degree with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA from the recognized university.
