Well actually my child is studying 10th CBSE at Jawahar Navodaya school, Pedavegi, w.g.dt ap. What is the procedure to admit him in 11th class.

If you completed 10th Board exam,then only you can go for the admission in 11th std. There are two three choice for the admission in 11th std. Means either you can choose Science with Match, Science with Biology, Commerce or Arts streams.

Total subject in all these three streams will be five and one additional subject you can choose as an optional subject.

Percentage criteria for various course will vary as per schools standard. But in many cases more than 70% will be required for the admission in Science streams. And minimum 50% is required for admission in commerce streams.

So we suggest you to visit various schools in AP and ask about the percentage criteria in which you are planning to go for.

Jawahar Navodaya is also under CBSE. After completion of your son's 10th class , he can get admission in 11th class on the basis of merit score secured in 10th.

Admission Procedure
- Go to schools to which you want to get admission.
- Get application form for admission in 11th.
- Fill the application form & submit it to school.
- Each school will display the short-listed students on their specified date.
- If your son will short-listed , then you can confirm admission by paying fees at school.
