My complete degree in civil engg I want to job in pwd and what is criteria for job? Can you please let me know the minimum criteria which is required? It will be helpful if you can provide me the details on this as soon as possible. Thank you!

PWD announces jobs for many posts. But general eligibility criteria is that a candidate must be a diploma holder in Engineering from a recognized university or institute.

Age must be between 18 years to 30 years & age relaxation as per the government guidelines. For some posts it is graduation in B.E. or B.Tech from a recognized university.

I would suggest you to provide us full details like for which post you want to apply for. But above mentioned are the basic criteria.

A degree in civil engineering is more than enough for PWD job. For junior engineer post at PWD you just need a diploma in civil engineering qualification. Selection will be based on the performance in written exam and interview.

Therefore, your qualification is surely enough to apply for PWD job but selection is possible only through good performance in written and interview.

Minimum eligibility criteria followed for getting job in PWD:-

->>You must have a Graduate Degree from a recognized University, or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central/State Government.

->>Those in the final year of Graduation/Semester are also eligible to apply provisionally

Age Limit:-

**Minimum Age : 20 years

**Maximum Age : 28 years

Age relaxation:-

**Upto 05 years in case of SC/ST candidates

**Upto 03 years in case of OBC candidates

**Upto 05 years for Physically Handicapped Persons.

Being a B.tech. degree holder in civil, you can apply for the post of Junior Engineer in PWD. For that you have to write SSC(Staff Selection Commission) JE(Junior Engineer) examination.

PWD stands for Public Works Department .

Eligibility criteria required to write SSC JE examination are as under :-

-The candidate should have passed Degree/Diploma in Civil/Electrical/ Mechanical discipline from a recognized University .

-The candidate age limit should be in between 18 years to 32 years . The upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidates, 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 10 years for Physically Handicapped candidates .
