I completed my m.sc with 54.1% of marks. From 2011 to till now I work as microbiologist at food and water analysis laboratory. But now I want to start my PhD. Is this possible for me? In which institute give me the opportunity? Plz give me the answer.

You have completed M.Sc degree with 54.1%, So you are not eligible for Ph.D course in Microbiology.

Those candidates who have completed M.Sc degree in Microbiology with above 55% marks from a recognized University are eligible for Ph.D course. There are no age criteria.

I am sorry to say you that you are eligible to do Ph.D since you have scored 54.1% of marks in Post Graduation.
Below I have mentioned the eligibility criteria to do Ph.D course, have a look over it.

Eligibility criteria to do Ph.D:-

Candidates must have completed their Master's degree from a recognised University.
Candidates must have scored at least 55% of marks in Master's degree.
Candidates must have a valid NET scorecard.

Qualifications to do Ph.D course in India are

You must have done master degree programmes with atleast 55 percentage aggregate marks or equivalent grade from any recognised Indian institution or board.

There is no age limitation for joining this programme.

To apply for top institutions, you must crack either UGC NET examination or CSIR or GATE examination.

Many institutions admit students without entrance examination.

So, you are not applicable for applying for PhD programmes at top institutes in India like Indian institute of technology, Indian institute of Science, National institute of technology . But, few management colleges may offer admission irrespective of percentage of marks.
