Dear there are different advantages of every single stream/ subject you choose at first for your graduation whether it is management or application or engineering anything but the only thing matters is complete and accurate knowledge of that particular subject because if you have good command at your specialisation subject then you can achieve some big things in your stream and be successful.

If you want to pursue BA in Rural Development then you need to know that Rural Development has a big scope in India because of highest percentage of Rural Population in the world.

If you complete BA in Rural Development then you can have some govt. jobs like -

Secretary - Every single village has Panchayats in India and every Panchayat has a secretary who is appointed to manage various govt. activities in Rural or Panchayat Area.

Employment Secretary - A candidate who is good in Rural Development can be Employment Secretary in Rural Indian areas to manage various Rural Development schemes of govt. of India like - MANREGA, PM Awas Scheme etc.

Project Coordinator Jobs - A candidate who have degree in Rural Development can become project coordinator for tenders and contracts of state or central govt. of India for big projects like Road Development in Rural India, Infrastructure and other relevant areas development.

Manager in Rural Area Development - A candidate holding degree and good knowledge of relevant subject is appointed by various state govt. for management of projects launched by state govt.

So finally you should know that you can get different jobs but if you do not want jobs in that area then you can start your own business in Rural India and also start your NGO for rural development and start working for rural and social development.

Thanks and Regards
