Respected Sir, I want to appear for NEET exam next year but my age is 16 years now. I want to know what is the minimum age required to appear for NEET exam? Please answer as soon as possible.

Those candidates who have completed 12th standard from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subject are eligible for NEET exam. At 10+2 level you need to secure minimum 50% of marks in physics, chemistry and biology taken together. Your minimum age should be 17 years and your maximum age should be 25 years.

You are not eligible to apply for NEET with 16 years. Minimum age required to appear NEET is 17 years.

NEET Eligibility
- You must be citizen of india.
- You should have passed 12th with physics, chemistry and biology as a main subjects securing minimum 50% aggregate.
- Your age should be between 17 to 25 years on 31st December of the examination year.

NEET Application Procedure
- Visit the site : www.aipmt.nic.in
- Find the link "Apply Online".
- Read the instruction & complete registration.
- You will get the registration number.
- Fill the application form carefully.
- Submit the application.
- Upload the scanned photograph, signature and thumb impression.
- Make a payment of application fee.
- Save the generated confirmation of application.

- Total Questions : 180
- Total Marks : 720
- Time Duration : 3 Hours

National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Under Graduates acronym as NEET UG will be taken by CBSE on behalf of Ministry of Health and Medical Science.

For this examination candidate must have passed 12th class with Physics Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized board. The required age criteria for NEET examination are given below.

=> Maximum age = 25 years (Open Category)

=> Maximum age = 30 years (Reserved Category)
