I am an Ex-serviceman, retired from Indian Army. My Daughter is appearing 12th Science. She is aspiring student for MBBS from Maharashtra. Please tell me is there any Reservation for Ex Servicemen Children's in Maharashtra Govt medical Colleges ?

As per my knowledge there is no reservation provided to the childrens of any Ex-Servicemen. In every sector there are reservation for Ex-Servicemen only. As every colleges have different procedures and rules to follow but there is no any rules regarding this type. But if you are under OBC/SC/ST category then only you will get reservation as per guidelines set by colleges. Every colleges have different rules and regulations.

There is reservation of about twenty seats in MBBS course in central government medical colleges and State government decides around 1-2 seats for wards of Ex Serviceman.

Your daughter need to score better marks to come under All India quota counselling to avail reservation benefits under Ex Serviceman quota.
